Mr Carpets' work included the installation of seventeen different floor finishes in three different buildings. The floor finishes included running track surfaces, coloured rubber sheet installed to create patterns, as well as carpets throughout the office areas.
Mr Carpets has been undertaking works at the Northern Hospital over the past two years. Refurbishing existing buildings as well as new facilities, we have installed safety vinyls throughout operating theatres, nurses stations and patient wards, as well as carpet tiles in public areas.
Mr Carpets carried out extensive works at the Australian Synchrotron, within the science centre and also to the 50-bed accommodation building.
The Bailleau Library at the University of Melbourne was completely refurbished with long-lasting Marmoleum. This project used the floor finishes in several different colours to create different zones within the library. We often use Callidus, our computer-based estimating software in this type of installation to ensure the most efficient use of materials.
An aged care facility in Brighton, the Mayflower was completely stripped out with new carpet installed in bedrooms and common areas and new vinyl installed in ensuite bathrooms and kitchens.
